Wallygrunta! Welcome to the Hills!
Green course: 4.6km +/- 100mtrs
Blue course: 10 kms +/- 240 mtrs
Black course: 14.3 kms +/- 450 mtrs
The second race of the series gets you started on the serious hills. These tracks are mostly quite wide, which will allow competitors easy passing opportunities and gorgeous views from the hilltops, particularly on the highest sections (the BLACK course naturally gives you more climbs, so more viewing opportunities). An abundance of kangaroos in this park may provide some happy distraction from your bursting lungs.
And of course, an awesome medal!
Courses will be well flagged - and marshalled at a few key intersections. We will do our best to keep you on course, but it is your responsibility to keep aware of the flagging.
*Note: Blue and Black courses separate at the Top Up Stop 'Aid 1.' It is arrowed, flagged and there's a marshal calling out directions. We do our absolute best and it's your responsibility to follow the course markings, DO NOT just follow the runner in front of you.
Actual Race Day Course may change - always follow the course markings.
St John's will be available at the Aid Station located at the Start/Finish area. On course we have Top Up Stops - these are the yellow pins on the map.
The Top Up Stops give you a chance to revive and energise with the PTS Crew on hand to assist you.
Black Course: Two Top Up Stops. The first is at approximately 6km's, providing water. The second is at approximately 11km, providing water and carbohydrates in the form of electrolyte and organic fruit.
Blue Course:Â Two Top Up Stops. The first is at approximately 4km's, providing water. The second is at approximately 8km, providing water and carbohydrates in the form of electrolyte and fruit.
Green Course: One Top Up Stop. Approximately halfway, providing water and carbohydrates in the form of electrolyte and fruit.
Note: Disposable cups are NOT provided at our events. All runners are provided with their very own reusable silicone collapsable cup. Be sure to collect your cup with your bib if it's your first event. If you've lost your cup, let us know. 15 ltr water jugs are provided at the finish line, so have your cup handy!
